  • Expanded Our Supporter Base: With HD42 expanding to encompass 9 new precincts, we won 57% of the vote by a margin of 10,089 votes, while receiving 11% higher turnout than Orange County and earning the support of 38% of NPS.

  • Over Performed for Democrats: Our district over performed compared to others and was the only district in Florida where White Democrats had higher turnout than White Republicans. Total turnout was 58.5%.

  • Leading by Service: Mobilized nearly 500 volunteers around community service projects including clean ups, hurricane relief, rental assistance education, and assisted 1400 people in vulnerable communities to receive COVID-19 vaccinations.

  • Not Just Campaign Canvassing: Revolutionized door to door outreach by distributing direct relief options to Floridians in need as well as calls to action around legislative committee weeks and session, engaging voters on the bill passage process.

  • Grassroots Organizing: Over 340 active volunteers delivered 1,750 yard signs, knocked on 22,000 doors, made 23,000 calls and wrote over 1,000 postcards. 

  • People Powered Fundraising: Received donations from 2,160 individual donors with an average donation of $96.

  • Leading On The Issues: 1,480+ media hits along the campaign trail, getting our message to a local and national audience.

  • Trained Future Leaders: Trained and managed 64 college & high school interns, on our campaign & legislative teams, from 27 different campuses.
